the minusplus story
The minusplus story starts in 1999, when our first collaborative project, diet light was voted category-winner at the Open Film Festival Budapest. We spent the next summer doing a social-housing competition (120 apartments Pécs), and won second prize with the design. In 2001, beside the studies we made four competitions, from which we won the last one (Special School in Csorna) with our one time-master, Tamás KARÁCSONY from the university. We made the building permission plans before our diploma-project, and our first building started... [2002] After our diplomas, we established minusplus_architects [2002] and started to work on our own.
In the first four years we made 30 competitions (of which 14 got prize) and several other projects, and worked with more than 20 associates and collaborators, mainly architects. At the end of 2005 we had the first trainee in our office. In 2004 we started our doctorate studies, and so we are now giving courses at the Faculty of Architecture.

minusplus became a school, our always changing architectural school of life.
