The interior design concept for the building is based on the analogy of a mountain, which distinguishes the levels of the building according to the diverse natural phenomena and artificial landscapes found on a mountain. This easy-to-read formula connects the interior design image of each level in a unified, yet different way: the seven levels are characterized by seven keywords, seven distinct moods.
On the ground floor, we start from the foot of the mountain, where the urban built environment prevails: roads, houses, public spaces are characterized by the density of this level. On the next floor, we recall the patchwork image of cultivated fields: fields of various colors and textures of crops and furrows resulting from plowing. Continuing upwards, we arrive at the level of deciduous and then pine forests. Here, animals hiding, soft pine needles, greenish colors and different densities build the desired atmosphere. The fourth level is a cuckoo's egg, because it could be located anywhere in the building. Here are the caves, which are characterized by treasures and crystals appearing here and there in a homogeneous frame. On this level, the built elements - walls, floors and ceilings - are surfaces of the same material and texture, just as the stone surrounds us during a mining operation, while the decoration appearing in them has many interesting details.
Then come the spaces of the alpine meadow, covered with lush undergrowth, dotted with mosses and flowers: many shades of green and multi-colored spots of flowers also appear. We reach the mountaintop on the sixth floor. This is the snowfield, where we have evoked a homogeneous snow blanket made up of tiny snowflakes: carpets and furniture made up of small elements form the spaces. White, transitional, fleeting, soft clouds float above the mountain, this is the level of the meeting rooms on the seventh floor.
The planned lounges, complemented by the visual elements of the corridors and kitchenettes, inhabit the general office spaces of the building. The independent appearance of the mountain analogy on each level resolves the brutal scale, while the consistent concept organizes the levels into a unit and reveals the internal structure, thus orienting the work taking place in the building.
Our assignment was to design designated parts of the tenant areas of the shell-and-core office building, so our work was carried out independently, outside the scope of the building's general design tasks.
