About us
MINUSPLUS is an independent, 20-person architectural and design office in Budapest. Since our founding in 2002, we have developed our competencies across the full spectrum of architecture and related design fields, so we can now provide complex, comprehensive solutions for our clients.
In our projects, we provide sustainable and innovative solutions that create value for both clients and users.
We are humans, sentient beings, we love harmony and beauty. The most important thing for us is to create truly beautiful, harmonious and, last but not least, resilient works. Our interests are reflected in the diversity of our work. We enjoy what we do, and this is clearly visible in our homes.

We create inspiring spaces
We cover the entire design process, from ideation, through contextual and functional studies to feasibility analysis. The work also takes place in full depth in the fields of architecture, interior design, object design, environmental graphics, signage systems and publications, right up to the elaboration of details.
Our team's ultimate ambition is to create buildings that inspire the activity that takes place within them. We explore new connections and reinterpret the user's relationship with their spaces. We believe that in doing so, we make the world around us better.

We are curious.
Our method is discovery: we create the core values of the design from the analysis and interpretation of the given situation. We dare to ask questions, to look for new solutions, to do this we systematically research architecture and develop our own skills. We are convinced that the question is the most important driving force that initiates change.
We cooperate
Our working method is inclusive, and our architectural responses are therefore diverse. We believe that the alignment of different approaches moves our world forward and builds our environment.
We will do it.
We stand with both feet on the ground: our ideas are innovative, but we always find a way to make them buildable.
We also take on a role in the implementation and project management, relying on our own resources and stable professional partners. This allows for the consistent implementation of the design intent during implementation. In the case of external collaborations, a consistent representation of the professional integrity and quality of the plans is also a key aspect.
