The Bigfish is a revival of the container-surrounded port fish market in both its function and appearance. Similar to the buffets at the fish market, guests can choose from freshly arrived sea fish and shellfish from the ice bed. The dishes are prepared from selected ingredients in an open kitchen set up in the counter.
The interior design follows from the fish market-like operation. The interior evokes a strange intersection of a port warehouse and a fish market, where those who come here eat among the crates standing in piles, somewhat reminiscent of a pop-up store. The interior therefore has an industrial feel, which also fits in with the visible assembly of all mechanical and electrical units. This image is enhanced by the recycled industrial hall lights and shelving systems made from shipping boxes that are included in the restaurant.
