The magnificent view was the focus in the renewal of the duplex apartment in Buda. Upon entering, we feel that the living room does not end at the windows, but continues towards the mountains. As if walking inside a piece of furniture, the transition zone between the hallway and the internal staircase separates from the living room by changing the quality of the surfaces and connects the two levels. Downstairs are the lively common areas and the parental sleeping area, upstairs the kids’ land. Downstairs, we tried to minimize the separation of living spaces, and find the balance in which family members can gather together and see each other, where the sunlight travels through the space unhindered while ensuring intimacy of use.
