The goal of the renovation of the downtown office building built in the 1990s was to create a spectacular renewal with minimal intervention, while adapting to the existing features. The clean white and light gray surfaces of the lobby are made friendly by warm wooden cladding, and the geometric design unifies the reception and furniture, while the circular lamps reflect the features of the space. This restrained, uniform image continues on the office floors, divided by glass walls and unique furniture, complemented by cozy community points.
In the former industrial wing of the Central Udvar office building, robust structures and an emphasis on loft character were emphasized: an open office space was created, with separate functions marked by glass boxes. The entrance was transformed to create a smaller but representative foyer, which is connected to the exterior space by a covered arcade, while the corten steel surfaces evoke the industrial past.
When renovating the inner courtyard, the goal was to strengthen the connection to the city's public spaces: the cladding continues the rhythm of the surrounding pedestrian street, enriched with green islands and curved concrete surfaces. Unique lighting elements guide traffic, while the geometric painting of the facades follows the rhythm of the windows and doors, giving a unified, characterful appearance.
