The interior design emphasizes the industrial character of the building on the one hand, and on the other hand, it aims to serve as a neutral, clearly distinguishable background for the furniture and products to be presented. The exposed bauxite concrete columns and beams, which became visible after the demolition of the plasterboard walls and coverings, create the loft atmosphere of the open-plan office and showroom. The new elements introduced – polished concrete flooring, gray carpeting, black and white wall paintings – provide a monochrome background for the products of various materials and colors distributed by the company.
When remodeling the building's exterior, our goal was to create a contemporary sandbox that would preserve the building's past and still fit in with the industrial feel of the environment.
We will highlight the two street-facing openings with simple, minimalist means: we will build a canopy made of black, thin building panels, which will also appear as a facade cladding in a few places as a sign.
