The construction site is located in Középső – Józsefváros. Its environment is characterized by heterogeneity in both architectural and social terms. The qualitative renewal of the built and natural environment included in the district's objectives requires the development of a new architectural value system. Considering a social apartment building, this system requires the creation of conditions for civilized coexistence, which means the development of quality residential, community and public spaces: a building that is capable of accommodating social diversity without the risk of uniformity and of smoothly coordinating different needs.

During the examination and analysis of the options, we decided on a building with a central corridor located in a single block. The characteristics of the installation are, on the one hand, compactness, the closedness of the building mass, thereby minimizing the cooling and facade surfaces, which in addition to economical operation also significantly reduces construction costs, and on the other hand, maximizing the courtyard area, which has a positive effect on sunlight and the amount of green space.
